Charisma

Monday, August 17, 2009 @ 11:14 pm.

Just had a discussion with father over Hitler when I was asking him to test me:

[segment]
F: What is Hitler's number one charisma technique?
Me: Uh... he shouts a lot.
[father bursts out laughing]
Me: Seriously.
F: No, do you know what his number one charisma technique is?
Me: I don't know, what?
F: ...his mustache.
Me: !!!
F: He's the only guy in Germany to have a mustache like this! [illustrates]
Me: But Stalin had a mustache and it never did anything for him.
F: But Stalin's mustache was like THIS [illustrates]. Hitler's mustache is like THIS [illustrates].
Me: Uh.
F: And do you know who else has a mustache like that? Charlie Chaplin.
[silence]
F: and Charlie Chaplin has... CHARISMA.
