Nervous breakdowns are awesome, 'cause you realise, after that, how ridiculous it is. Everything that had been built up falls off and you're free of the weight.

But until it falls off, you feel pretty darn bad.

True. But in the end, it's a necessary step for you to realise it.

NaNoWriMo'10

Currently at about 21k.
Seven days left.

I'm not worried about finishing NaNo. I can write 5k a day if I need to. I've got the time.

It's just... the willpower. If I do end up writing 5k a day it's just going to be so... tiring.

I've never been behind on NaNo before. Of course, I haven't ever started late before, let alone fifteen days late, so it's a given.

I just want to be ahead, though. I wanted to write 25k in Australia but I couldn't; I came home with 20k. I wanted to write yesterday but I was too damn tired and only wrote less than a hundred words.

I'll get to 25k tonight. And then some. Maybe even 28k if I feel up to it.

I'm going to win this thing.

Which hurts more?

Which hurts more?
1. Loving someone from the side. Meaning that that person you love could be a good friend of yours, or you could simply just be normal friends/acquaintances, whichever the case. However that person is unaware that you love him or her.
or
2. When two people love each other but they cannot be together for some reason. Which means that both of you love each other (the feeling is mutual). However due to some circumstance you cannot be together.

In my opinion, it would be option number two.

Because in option number two, both parties are equally anguished.
In option number one... it's just you.

And even though option number one seems to hurt more, it's actually not true, because you don't consider the other party.

Unless you're confident enough to say that he/she is hurt because he doesn't get to reciprocate your love.

But he wouldn't know that.

If you asked me this again now, though, I'd pick option one.

Because even if there are two people hurting in option two, both of you know that you love each other anyway. In option one, you hurt so much more.
