Whenever I wait for my mother in school, I need to be in the concourse/pickup point about thirty minutes in advance or something bad happens.
Today I only received the two smses and three phone calls from my mother when she eventually got impatient and went in to search and I got into the car.
This sort of stupid thing is only supposed to happen to primary school people. Shame that it should happen to me. Shame on me.
Anyway I had gone up with Sheralyn to the staff room because she 'needed company'. Then met Charlotte there. Apparently she also needed company. But Sheralyn needed to go down again because she needed to check her phone so she told me to stay. I couldn't say I needed to check my phone too and I was assuming that my phone would actually receive messages. But clearly I had put too much trust in my phone.
So sat with Charlotte doing bio until I looked down and realised my mother was walking downstairs (she had a friend with her and couldnt wait) and as soon as I blundered into her car i got all the smses and calls.
School is the only place in Singapore, besides elevators and underground carparks, I know of that doesn't have reception.
